Identity theft, online security, password security…these are all terms that unfortunately have become ubiquitous in the homes of the United States. It seems we can’t go a few days without hearing something on the news about someone having their identity stolen. Quite possibly you may even know of someone that had their identity stolen.

It is annoying to have to change passwords every few months or maintain a high quality security program on your computer. Time and money are not only the effects of identity theft, they are also needed in order to prevent it. Identity theft is rampant and will continue to grow as long as the internet and computers play such an integral role in our world. Common safety practices when using computers and the internet should be used to ensure one’s safety and to prevent any theft.
